Denver Homebuyer Assistance Program Relaunches Mortgage Credit Certificate Program

The City and County of Denver has re-launched its popular Mortgage Credit Certificate Program This program makes it easier for qualified borrowers to become homeowners. This program will allow qualifying borrowers to receive an annual federal income tax credit equal to 30% of the annual interest paid on their mortgage loan (up to $2,000 annually). The new program will benefit approximately 210 Denver households and can be combined with other homebuyer assistance programs. For example, it can be combines with Denver’s Metro Mortgage Assistance Plus program, which offers a 4% grant for closing cost assistance and down payment.

It’s a good idea to inquire now to make sure you’re one of the buyers that will benefit from this program.

Combine this with the CHFA down payment assistance grants and you could be on your way to home ownership with little money out of your pocket.

We work with competent lenders who participate in all these assistance programs. It’s very easy to find out if you qualify and can buy a home with little money out of your pocket. With the current mortgage rates and all the grants and programs, it makes absolutely no sense to keep paying other people’s mortgage. Let’s get you in a home of your own!
