If you haven’t recently visited the downtown Denver area, you are missing out on the number of attractions, restaurants, events and sightseeing adventures that have exploded over the past few years.

Whether you are seeking to experience new “farm to table” restaurants, meeting friends for a fantastic happy hour at one of the many new hot spots, or enjoying the city out on bicycles; Denver has so many neighborhood hot spots and restaurants and daily activities for every type of lifestyle. Taking advantage of the light rail system allows the freedom to venture around Denver and explore by foot. The Denver B-Cycle program boasts over 84 stations and 700 b-cycles where you can rent a bike from station to station and enjoy a ride through downtown, hopping around t to discover the local craft breweries or enjoy a ride along the Cherry Creek bike path for a day around North Cherry Creek.

Another growing area in Denver is the Tennyson Street/Highland Square which features a number of neighborhood hot spots including restaurants, farmers markets and street fairs during the summer and fall seasons. Tennyson Street continues to emerge as a favorite spot to be as more top restaurants are developing, there are a number of art galleries, small boutiques, and coffee shops.

Because people in Denver love their pets, it also has one of the top, off-leash dog parks for you to enjoy the day with your four-legged friends. Railyard Dog Park is located in the heart of the LoHi area allowing you to enjoy, not only the dog park, but River Front and Confluence Parks and the number of cafes and restaurants in the area.
